The scripture refers to human appearance as being made in the image of God. Believers have never seen God; yet, we understand this to refer to the spiritual realm.

Another reference from the Bible is that a woman is made from the ribs of man; as the weaker vessel. While a man is masculine, features of strength, power, husky, athletic, stamina and endurance; a female is curvaceous, feminine, virtuous, natural or exotic in beauty and features of stylish hair, captivating eyes, nice smile, gentleness, and elegance.

Marriage is considered a sacred institution in many cultures and faiths. According to biblical teachings, marriage is a union between two people, becoming one flesh (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6).

Grounds for Union

Mutual Consent: Both partners willingly consent to the union (Genesis 24:57-58, 1 Corinthians 7:2-5).

Love and Commitment: Partners demonstrate love, commitment, and loyalty (Ephesians 5:22-33, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

Shared Faith: Shared faith and values can strengthen the union (1 Corinthians 7:12-16, 2 Corinthians 6:14-17).

Covenant: Marriage is a covenant between two people, witnessed by God and others (Malachi 2:14, Proverbs 2:17).

Unity and Oneness: Partners become one flesh, united in body, spirit, and soul (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31).

Biblical Principles

Leave and Cleave: Partners leave their families and cleave to each other (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5).

Love and Respect: Partners demonstrate love, respect, and care for each other (Ephesians 5:22-33, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

Mutual Submission: Partners submit to each other, serving and honoring one another (Ephesians 5:21, 1 Corinthians 7:3-4).

These principles and grounds for union provide a foundation for building a strong, loving, and lasting marriage.
